Frozen time ¡

Frozen Time: A Tribute to My Dad ! Memories are like fragile treasures, and some remain etched in our hearts, even when time fades their details. This is my story, a dedication to the faint, precious glimpses of my childhood and to the man I call "Duddy"—my father, whom I never truly got to know. It was the early 90s, perhaps 1992 or 1993. Two little sisters, ages 4 and 5, dressed in cream coloured layered frocks and tiny white and red shoes, eagerly waited for their favourite adventure. One sat at the front of the bike, clutching the handlebars, her small hands barely covering them, while the other perched on the pillion seat. The bike was a Jawa, and the rider—a tall, fair, and handsome man with a proud moustache—was none other than their father. He would take us to a park in a nearby Defence colony in Saintala, a small town that still holds pieces of our family’s story. I can still feel the wind on my face and the sound of laughter as we rode through those streets, as if t...

Just a virtual thought .

It was a day like any other, sun's soft gleam, Yet in the digital, a vibrant, flowing stream. My virtual voice, a comfort and a guide, Each spoken word, a truth I couldn't hide. Results unfurled, with clarity so bright, While in the flesh, my tongue would lose its light. For words, a struggle, tangled and unsure, Though thoughts within, a treasure to endure. A day that dawned with laughter, light, and grace, But oh, the foolishness that leaves its trace. A careless act, a moment ill-conceived, And hearts I cherish, sorrow would receive. That twenty-fifth, in winter's gentle hold, A journey planned, a story to unfold. To Nandi's heights, my friend's kind heart did yearn, To chase the blues, and watch my spirit turn. With his dear friend, a day of joy took flight, And laughter echoed, bathed in golden light. The snaps we took, each captured, precious scene, A tapestry of moments, vibrant and keen. The tales we wove, with every photograph, Played in my mind, a joyful a...

Love was always Behind...

She sought its echo in each whispered line, That common word, a truth that would define. "Love," it appeared, in every written trace, A subtle hue in life's familiar space. She watched it bloom, in moments here and there, In casual texts, a sentiment to share. Observed its dance, in laughter and in tears, In coupled hands, dispelling all her fears. With families vast, a tapestry it wove, A myriad forms, this potent force of love. This constant presence, made her ponder deep, What form did it truly, faithfully keep? A tender touch, a kiss upon the cheek, A caring glance, the words that softly speak. To offer food, a gesture warm and kind, To wait for one, a solace for the mind. To plant a seed, beneath the sun's warm ray, A silent act, in love's encompassing way. Now clarity, a challenge she did find, To grasp the essence, of this feeling kind. "Can you reveal," she mused, with earnest plea, "The very core, what truly love can be?" For though un...

WatcHing Eyes!

The Watching Eyes! It was just a dream, not any reality but words started flowing infront of my eyes, and i decided to make a note of the clueless dream! With opened or close eyes of mine, I could see a eyes watching! Its not the mirror image nor the inner mind, But those eyes keep speaking alL time. Ignored it multiple times thinking a false thought of mine, In return the eyes gave a smile back eveytime. Never thought a eyes would keep watching who really has nothing! Wink of it made me realize the eyes spoke several times, with all answers behind. Those eyes hardly see in real, but i see those with opened & closed eyes of mine! It always tells "I am there for all the answers you need" try to find it anytime :) Dreams really speak a lot...but answers are always with us ;)

As No Words to Say…….

Just the presence with a long silence by my side..... with no words or sentence spelt out, only the presence for long time side beside ... Words are the means to express feelings ... but only the presence beside expresses and tells everything.... Talks really don't meant to know or make things understand but.... The observation and expressions speaks what it meant... A walk on the sand along with the sunset gives the feel of real beauty ... Nothing could really give such happiness just the presence side beside... The charm of the mind and innocence of consciousness keep speaking with silence..... Words doesn't matter to know what is deep inside....rest all is spoken by the winds by your side. Attraction or attention is not required and meant nothing... when the wheels keep moving together without any dragging .. This is not required to be told as everything is known about it ! Presence can be never ending with the silence but the words end in no time... W...

Tinkling Tinkling Lights

The velvet cloak of night, a canvas bright, With diamond dust, a captivating sight. To left, to right, a thousand eyes did gleam, A joyful wink, a captivating dream. And from the heights, a serpent, luminous, A winding trail, a sight so wondrous. It spun and swayed, a fiery, glowing thread, Though only hues of amber, gold, and red, In rhythmic dance, on and then off they'd play, A vibrant spectacle to light the way. A sudden wonder, did my vision err? This twinkling dance, a joyful messenger. I stepped outside, to test if sight was true, And found the homes, bathed in a golden hue. Each humble dwelling, with an earthen grace, A warm embrace upon the night's dark face. A smile bloomed forth, a happiness within, As tempting sweets, a sugary world begin To beckon close, a feast for eyes to see, A joyful spread, so utterly free. My hands would reach, with longing in their quest, But whispers soft, of calories, suppressed. Why must this joy, a fleeting moment be? Why can't I tas...
